About Coral Cremations

Welcome to Coral Cremations, a pet cremation service founded from a deep love for animals and a commitment to honoring the lives of cherished pets. My name is Karina, and I’m the founder of Coral Cremations. Growing up along Florida’s beautiful coast, I was always surrounded by animals and nature, which instilled in me a lifelong devotion to wildlife and pets alike.

After moving to Chicago, I explored my passion for pets on a television show called K-9 Capers, before transitioning into a career in arbitrage trading. Though financially rewarding, the corporate world wasn’t where my heart was. I moved to Los Angeles with a mission: to “Save the Whales.” There, I worked at The Wildlife Waystation, where I cared for rescued lions, tigers, and countless other animals. These experiences rekindled my purpose and led me to start rescuing animals independently.

Coral Cremations was born from a heartfelt mission to provide compassionate, respectful care for beloved pets after they pass, helping pet owners find peace while honoring their memories. Through Coral Cremations, I also support animal rescue efforts, fostering creatures of all kinds—from possums to wild mustangs. Our work allows me to give back to the animal community while offering pet owners a sense of closure.
